What ever happened to rock music?

Seriously, I was born in 2000, and I grew up listening to lots of rock music, now all I hear is shitty music like rap and all of that nonsense? What the hell happened? I'm glad indie music is coming back but I wanna hear bands like blink 182, oasis, the offspring, etc.
