Grinding under shoulder blades & hands shaking?

When I move my shoulder blades, it feels like they are grinding on my ribs. I feel a great pain under my shoulder blades near my spine, I can not even have my wife rub them and have them not hurt for at least 2 weeks. Since I have had the grinding under my blades, that has been going on for 7 almost 8 years now and my hands and fingers shake uncontrollably. Can someone please explain to me what is going on? I have been to the doctors and they told me it's just severe arthritis in my whole back and the 3 degenerating discs causing my shakiness.
