I missed my flight (KLM Airlines)? Empty I missed my flight (KLM Airlines)?

I missed my flight today.I asked the airlines at the counter and they directed me to talk with my agent as i bought ticket from them and the agent in return says that nothing can be done, neither the refund nor the booking of another ticket with a penalty fee.I feel soo helpless right now.
