Can anybody tell how much would I get to scrap my car?

Before hauling it off for scrap, place an ad in your local paper to part the truck out. In other words, sell the parts off of it that are still good. You could get probably $400-$500 for the engine alone. $100 or so for the transmission. Wheels, tires, miscellaneous interior parts, all can be sold. A complete truck for scrap should bring about $300 with today's scrap prices.
