C-section vs. natural birth? Empty C-section vs. natural birth?

I'd like to know basically the pros and cons of both c-section and natural birthing...My bf would like for me to have natural childbirth, but i'm afarid that "area" will be stretched out and never the same tightness..is C-section really that safe ? all advice would be apperciated.
