Any ideas for children's books?

i need some ideas for a children's book.i got to write my own children's book for school.any ideas???(setting,conflict and theme)??? 10 points?

Well,with children's books I think a good thing to do would be to read a bunch of them. There usually is a main theme or moral, but that should probably come out of the writing, or you may sound preachy. Characters should be a similar age to your target audience.

A true author never needs to ask what they should write about. You should get your ideas naturally and they should come to you. If you ask someone else for writing ideas, it is not your creative work.
