What does a Traffic Management Specialist do? Empty What does a Traffic Management Specialist do?

I'm in the USMC and my MOS is 3212 traffic management specialist. I don't really know anything about it though. I joined under the ground option which I was told was everything on the front lines except infantry like tank crewman, MP or artillery and cool stuff like that. I have heard that our job is to just ship supply's to places. Why would that be in the ground option? Anyone in the MOS who could tell me about it would be very appreciated.
