Did King David and Solomon really exist? Empty Did King David and Solomon really exist?

Started learning about Judaism at school today. I'm atheist, but I want to know if any part of the Old Testament is true and whether David and Solomon were real people. If they did indeed exist, is the Old Testament depiction of them accurate?
