How to calculate moles in a solution?

How do you calculate the number of moles of chloride in a sample of salt solution (.274g of salt combined with 10ml of distilled water)? Please show the steps because I haven't done chem in years and I don't understand it at all anymore. Any information im missing that is needed to calculate let me know please.
