How to begin videography? Empty How to begin videography?

I have no experience behind a camera but I really want to pick up videography as a hobby. I know of a lot of cool places where I live that I would like to shoot short films in, mostly having to do with nature. I have no idea where to begin. What kind of cameras should I look for?
