Do dental implant hurt?

as stated on question. what should I expect? my dentist tells me there will be nothing major, just minor pain but when I ask define minor he just smiles. I like the construction of the implants, much more cooler than the traditional bridge.

Doesn't really hurt, more like a little uncomfortable. If you have sufficient bone the implant from start to finish will take somewhere between 4 - 6 months.
