How good is the VIDEOGAME Destiny?

I was thinking about taking some of my Xbox One games like Ryse and Tomb Raider back to GameStop because I already completed them. I want to trade them in for another game and am strongly considering Destiny. A lot of my friends play it both on the 360 and the One. What's your honest opinion of it and is it good bang for the buck?
