What is the role of an it consultant? Empty What is the role of an it consultant?

I'm a college student about to graduate next month with no job experience in my field(computer science). Yet, I took a shot at this company base about 45mins. from where I live, did an interview and got called to come down to they're HQ next week. It's an IT consultant job.
