Advice on how to start a band?

OK so i mostly like to sing but i can play the piano (only a little) and I've written a bunch of songs, me and my brother tried to make a band together like last year or 2 years ago and planned having auditions but we always argue and it never worked out.

It gets easier once you know more people...my band and I knew each other since sixth grade... My advice is just to get into a jazz band or something with your school-you'll meet a guitarist, bass player, and drummer so you have a band right there if you play piano.
