Essential oils? effectts? Empty Essential oils? effectts?

Yesterday i got a couple of essential oils, to use to give my flat a nice smell, i ended up getting two and doing a mix of about 30% may chang and 70% vetiver. going for a lemony earthy smell. the lady was telling me the effects at the shop.
