Web Design or Web Development?

I know I'd love to build webpages, perhaps go freelance someday. But first... I must go to school (not gonna bother teaching myself, just going to the local community college). My question is this, which degree do I go for? I know the difference between the two, and I know often times possessing both skills makes you a valuable asset.
