Why am I so bad with women?

I get a lot of stares from them, but once I start talking to them, everything turns to sh*t. They eventually lose feelings for me, or they won't take my way of flirting seriously. Nothing works out for me, and I always think that I just need to go to the gym more because I'm probably not attractive enough.
